Laser Hair REmoval

Laser hair removal is an option for permanent hair reduction. For this treatment, the laser operator uses a focused laser beam to destroy the hair follicles in a small area.  Since the laser beam only destroys hair at a particular point in its growth cycle, the same area must be treated several times over a period of weeks. Each treatment provides a 15-20% reduction in hair growth. After each treatment, the hair affected will naturally shed within 2-3 weeks.

Successive treatments are scheduled 6 to 12 weeks apart, depending on the area, and optimum results usually involve 6 to 8 treatments. Possible side effects of laser hair removal are skin irritation, redness or swelling, and, rarely, a burn.

Laser hair removal works best on dark hair; clients with red or blonde hair usually do better with electrolysis.

Am I a good Candidate?

Clients who require a consultation:

  • The client is a minor (under the age of 18)
